The Mother

 

I am a 58 year old happy latin woman, with a knee and hip replacement. With more than a few extra pounds, I am convinced that with a lot of will, enthusiasm and positive thinking, I will be able to ride this adventure to the end!!!!! Just kidding,.. Noooooooooooooo!!!! I am not kidding!!!!! Fortunately the whole thing is true and I can't believe it still.

I know this is a great opportunity for us (Julio and mom) to do this together. One, that I have been waiting for a long time, so I will give it my best. Even with all these difficulties, I still want to complete the darn thing.

Wish us well and cross your fingers!, I still want to try and complete the darn thing,

The Son

I am a 28 year old student currently studying Biology ready to explore the world! Just a normal guy ready to test himself physically and mentally. Did I mention physically? It has been a roller coaster of emotions planning, buying, training, returning stuff, Now that it's finally coming time to depart, I am becoming a little overwhelmed. Nothing that a little flight and fresh Spanish air can't take care of! I don't know if I'll make it back. Not because I can't make the arduous journey, but because I will not want to come back! I have not looked forward to something so much in my life. The best part of all of this is that I will be with my best friend, my mom!
